Dr. Fox and Dr. Schingo have both been honored with a NYS Troopers PBA Award. Each year the New York State Trooper Surgeons Program, a division of the New York State Troopers PBA, honors select medical professionals and community members they consider to have been instrumental in saving or improving the lives of New York State troopers or their family members. It was recently announced that both doctors earned the Doctor Chandler Award for their service. As a result, they will be honored, along with other award recipients, at a special reception and ceremony in Manhattan this September.
Dr. Fox and Dr. Schingo have proudly supported the NYS troopers over the years. They have responded multiple times to give aid to officers, their staff and their families. It has been Dr. Fox and Dr. Schingo’s honor to support the members of the NYS Police Benevolent Association. When informed of the award, Dr. Fox expressed her gratitude by stating:
“Dr. Schingo and I are truly honored to receive the NYS Troopers PBA Doctor Chandler’s Award. It meant a lot to receive recognition from those who serve and protect our communities on a daily basis. We would never hesitate to help NYS troopers and their families when the need arises.”
In addition to their gratitude in being recognized, they both expressed that they look forward to continuing work with the New York State PBA in the years to come.
